Growing up in Northeast Mississippi, my mom and dad got me hooked on fishing at an early age. My dad taught me how to fish for catfish, bream , and bass from local streams and farm ponds. Looking back on those days, I never would have thought the lessons I learned then would have such an impact on my life today. After getting my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from University of Louisiana at Monroe, my wife Jenni and I took a job working as the worship and youth leaders at First Baptist Church in Southside , Alabama. The first week I was here , now good friends Randy and Jim took me out on Lake Neely Henry bass fishing. Immediately I was hooked. From that day on I started soaking up all the information available on how to catch Coosa River bass. I have spent over 150 days a year on Lake Neely Henry each of the last three years. Currently I compete in the Jacksonville Bassmasters, B.A.S.S. Weekend Series, and the American Fishing Tour. I have a passion for teaching. My goal as a guide is to teach you everything I can to help You catch more fish!
I would like to say a special thanks to my wife Jenni for letting me fish all day, everyday. Also thanks to all my friends at FBC for allowing me the time to pursue this passion. I look forward to fishing with you!
