February 13th– Water is still very stained on the main channel with clearer water in the backs of creeks and in pockets on the lower end of the lake. Fish can be caught right now by combing flats with a rattle bait or a spinner bait, or fishing road beds and docks on the lower in with a shakey head or jig.  For bigger spots  I’ve been having the best success upriver fishing current breaks and stumps on the main channel. The current is real strong as has them positioned right on or behind the cover. Make several flips to the same stump  before moving on . Small Crank baits are also working in the mouths of creeks. The  best colors are chartreuse /white or crawfish.
